Just got news in mid-September that my contemp romance won the Inspirational Category of the TARA.
Attended ACFW on Sept 17-20. FABULOUS time and met the SEEKERS and Cathy Marie Hake – plus so many more. Revell & Barbour asked for proposals for my contemp romance
Strang asked for a full for my Speculative Fiction
Bethany House asked for full for my Historical Fiction
VERY, VERY busy!!

My contemporary novel It Had To Be You was sent to the the editors who had asked for a full on October 10th. Woohoo.
My WWI one-pager, The Thornbearer has found interest with four editors. So…next on my writing agenda is to get that novel ready for proposal.
MomSense Magazine, an affiliate of MOPS International & Christianity Today, is going to publish my article Start Talking 101 in their January/Feb edition. My FIRST paid writing job. Yeah!

Moody Press asked for the full-manuscript of It Had to Be You – so I’m plugging along with revisions. I think I’m going to change the title to Love Is Here To Stay.

- On May 21, 2009 It Had to Be You won The Award of Excellence in Christian Literature at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers’ Conference
